Mirror and Maze
Keywords:
geometry, symmetry, architectonic compositionAbstract
This article is about the notion of symmetry, from a comprehensive general meaning in the dictionary to go on discoursing on several positioning – pointing out nuances between likes and dislikes about the validity of its observation – stated by different authors considered important references in the architecture history and reviews. More than harmonizing with this or that position, the interest of this reflection is to value the freedom of choice, based on convenience at invoking either the mirror or the maze as likely references in the architectonic approach.
