Punta della Dogana and Vendova Foundation. Two restorations of old landmarks for contemporary artwork

This text seeks both approach and confront the criteria of intervention identified at the work of two the architects - Tadao Ando and Renzo Piano - at the restoration of two old landmarks once devoted to laboring work, Punta della Dogana and Vedova Foundation respectively, turning them into cultural spaces to harbor contemporary artwork exhibitions. It is about typical contemporary action phenomena, the rehabilitation and appreciation of cultural heritage as if they were a rewriting of given text with new meanings; it is interesting to a wide field of subjects, specially the semiotic analysis.
