Abstract

This paper describes the elaboration of the model of the Centro Cultural de Parintins (Bumbódromo), Amazonas, performed to solve a practical problem of sound and light. With the main purpose to solve this problem, from the architectural design, a model was developed, based on the two-dimensional drawing and laser technology to cut materials. This paper shows the steps followed to aim a solution. The physical model has allowed the sound and light technicians to set up the ideal solution for this project. Furthermore, after the problem resolved, the model has enabled the presentation of the Centro Cultural de Parintins to different audiences, democratizing the project and its understanding as a whole.
