Residential architecture designed by Vilanova Artigas: relationships be- tween built and unbuilt projects

Abstract

This article aims to create an analytical reading of the residential architecture designed by Vilanova Artigas, between built and unbuilt projects. The research investigated the unbuilt residential projects in São Paulo using drawings and physical models, allowing establishing relations between the built and unbuilt architecture. This reading was carried out especially by the identification of formal types and architectural parties. The investigation of design aspects establishes relations between built and unbuilt projects through the whole of his architecture.
