Modern architecture produced from Pinto-Page government action plan - (1959/1963)

Abstract

The Research in architecture and urbanism, by reading the buildings, iconographic surveys and the documents, has great importance. Research on modern architecture produced by the Action Plan of the Government of Carvalho Pinto - PAGE- (1959/1963), whose documentary sources are checked in the administrative processes of authorities Ipesp / SPPREV , in the archives of DMFS, the FDE and Agriculture Department. It revealed a rich and varied architectural production. The PAGE was a Planning experience of public policies based on the concept of planning-budget. Through it began the production of public facilities with modern language in the state of São Paulo.
