Abstract

Were wide and varied professional relationships established by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier with Brazil. Started in the 1920s extends until his death in 1965, when he was in his ongoing project of the French Embassy in Brasilia (1964). This article presents the methodological processes of this research in development, including consultation with previous researchs and documents in the Brazilian collections and foreign collections, which prove the architect ‘s relations with Brazil. It proposes an initial approach to a case study , the initial design of Le Cobusier to the French. Also proposes an initial approach to a case study, the initial design of Le Cobusier to the French Embassy in Brazil.
