Perfections and perceptions. Recent museums in Mexico

It is not common that two monumental architectural works are facing each other, and exemplify much of what we think is desirable or downright reprehensible. Analyze the Soumaya, by Fernando Romero, and Jumex Museum, by David Chiperffield, museums interested because both manifest different ways of conceiving and realizing architecture. Therefore, while the first, as organic architecture, demonstrates an excessive interest in form, the second as classical architecture shows that it is possible to balance the outside with proper and refined work indoors where the central task of a museum appears: display art. We hope that this first approximation, standing to continue reviewing and agreeing the factors and elements that really matter.
