San francisco church of baron hill was built between 1865 and 1890, has undergone seven earthquakes with epicenters in nearby regions... and it is still standing. the temple has been burned twice, one in 1982 and another recent time in 2010, while we were developing the restoration design. this article attempts to highlight its history of nobility and as a perseverant urban landmark, embedded to its foundation and its citizens. further, the article discusses and analyses the restoration project critically, its criteria for intervention, management model and final design, emphasizing that this proposal places in its value heritage through a clear distinction, in other words, the insertion of contemporary architectural elements in explicit contrast with the heritage.
