Abstract

In Latin America, much of the population Inhabits and builds their house at the same time. In Mexico, 63% of the houses are of autoproduccion. This situation was considered illegal in Mexico until 2006 when it became formally recognized. Given that there is no a comprehensive system of support, the TAVI of the Autonomous Metropolitan University seeks for alternatives to address this situation. This paper is part of a master’s research project. One of its objectives is to analyze the impact of the process of the every day life, within the transformation of autoproduccion housing in a traditional village in Mexico, “San Luis Tlaxialtemalco”, Xochimilco.
