This research brings back the contribution of construction company CENPLA- Construções, engenharia e planejamentos, LTDA. This company was founded in 1962 by the engi-
neer Osmar Penteado de Souza e Silva (1928- 2008) and it was responsible by development and building an important group of residena-
ces made by main characters of modernism at São Paulo. The buildings have importance like examples of constructive solutions that were developed with the contribution between the architects and the constructors and it resulted in experimental and interdisciplinary construction site.
