Denial of urban space: the image of living in the journals of architecture in Brazil

Immersed in the world of Cultural Industry, the magazine dedicated to the dissemination of residential architecture for the general public in Brazil created ideal of living models. These models were constituted in discursive practices that constitute social practices. More than concepts, they built a whole imaginary connected to live where to live well meant living with the natural world. Only separate the difficulties of urban spaces - but evidently attached to them - dwelling could find their ultimate fulfillment.
