The participatory planning process involves the collaboration of different individuals, groups and sectors of the community that together contribute to projects that influence the territory where they live. In this context, this article presents a systematic and integrative literature review on methodologies for collaborative decision-making. It was possible to extract qualitative and quantitative data, methodological descriptions and assessments that allowed greater understanding about participatory experiences. In the same way, diagrams of the findings were drawn up. In addition to revealing different widely used methods, the results enabled the recognition of a number of difficulties and potentialities in the application of this type of approach.
